Biographical Sketch
Rikard Larsson is a co-founding partner of Decision Dynamics in Europe. Professor Larsson is one of the leading merger & acquisition researchers in the world with two doctoral dissertations (University of Southern California and Lund University). He has more than 30 international publications and conference presentations, and several prestigious research awards in this area and is a frequent international speaker and consultant in M&As.
In addition, Professor Larsson has 60 publications on topics related to strategy, organization, human resources, decision-making, and change, including Harvard Business Review. He is currently also Professor of Strategic Change at School of Economics and Management, Lund University, where he is part of the EFL Faculty for executive education. Professor Larsson became one of the first European members in the Executive Committee of Academy of Management's Business Policy and Strategy Division. Professor Larsson has managed many consulting projects regarding strategic, organizational, human resource, career, and change management for more than ten years. Various approaches have been used to increase individual and organizational ability and motivation to manage strategic human resource appraisal, rewards, development, career, and change processes. In conjunction with Korn/Ferry, he and his colleagues recently completed one of the world´s largest studies of executive success using a global database consisting of several hundred thousand assessed persons.
